How does Path Pilot work?
Path PIlot stores the paths that all your users who hit your most important pages (goal pages) and then uses that data to analyze the current user’s behavior and make recommendations based on similar past (converted) users. (Note: Path Pilot is only compatible with WordPress websites).
Is it really a free CRO tool?
Yes! Downloading Path Pilot is free and it’s free to use. There will be a paid version in the near future.
Does Path Pilot meet privacy requirements?
Path Pilot uses only your first-party data as users browse your brand’s website. It does not track anything off-site and therefore, meets most brands’ privacy requirements.
Can I set up Path Pilot to help with any onsite conversion?
We understand not all conversions are created equal! Certainly, a newsletter signup is not as important as demo request. You can choose which conversions are most valuable on your website whether it’s adding items to cart or booking a meeting.
How long does it take to start seeing results?
Once you download Path Pilot, it can begin collecting data immediately - there’s no setup required. It takes time to collect enough data to make informed recommendations. There is a warm-up period while Path PIlot stores users' behavior. Once it hits a point where there is enough data to make informed decisions, recommendations will be made. During the warm-up period, other recommendations will be given (new pages, popular pages, goal pages).
How does Path Pilot compare to other CRO tools?
Path Pilot was created to fill a gap that other CRO tools are not able to fill at this time. Unlike a CRO platform like Unbounce or an A/B testing tool like Optimizely, it’s a simple WordPress plugin, making it easy to install and begin using immediately.
